The international LIV Golf league presents a golfing tournament like no other. Founded in 2023 by LIV Golf Investments, the tournament seeks to tap into golf’s potential on the global scale with games played on select courses across the world, attracting a truly diverse guest list.

This season showcases a total 54 players, forming 13 teams of four in 14 electric locations across the globe with 2 titles up for grabs - Individual Championship and Team Championship.

The LIV Golf tournament gives players the opportunity to compete in both an individual and  teams leaderboard format. The individual competition is where the top 24 finishers at each event earns points and ranks accordingly on the leaderboard, with the player with the most points at the end of the season winning the coveted title.

Points are determined as follows:

• Each team accumulates points over 3 days of each tournament.
• Only the top 3 players' scores contribute to the over-all team points for that round.
• On day 4, all four players' scores are tallied and contribute to the team score.
• Finally, only the top 8 teams earn points in the team standings.
  

As the tournament tees off, the green is set to sizzle with the prowess of top-tier talent. Leading the pack, Dustin Johnson, fresh off his Las Vegas victory, with impeccable precision and unwavering focus, is poised to add more grandeur to his already illustrious career. Meanwhile, six-time major winner and World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson, the crafty veteran with a flair for dramatics, continues to defy age, showcasing his legendary short game and experience in navigating the most challenging courses.

The dark horse, Cameron Smith, with his recent surge and exceptional talent, particularly in clutch moments, is set to make waves and potentially outplay the giants.

From Mayakoba to Hong Kong, Singapore to Greenbrier and nearly everywhere else in-between, LIV Golf 2024 will traverse the globe, touching base in eight stunning countries with the first ball fizzing off into the greens at El Cameleón Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico, on February 2nd, with a nail-biting outing that saw Joaquin Niemann winning the individual format and Team winners, Legion XIII GC come out on top.

The next leg kicked off on February 8th, at the idyllic Las Vegas Country Club, USA, which saw the likes of Dustin Johnson reaching the top of the individual podiums and Smash GC as Team Winners. The spectacular Royal Greens Golf & Country Club will follow on March 1st, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before moving on to the prestigious Hong Kong Golf Club in Hong Kong on March 8th.

The tournament will make a round trip back to the States to the prestigious Trump National Doral in Miami, on April 5th, before jumping the pond to the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia on April 26th. The tournament will then head north to the stunning Serapong to tee off at the Sentosa Golf Course in Singapore from May 3rd for 2 days.

LIV 2024, then returns to US soil for two consecutive legs, one taking place at the aptly named Golf Club of Houston, in Texas on June 7th followed by The Grove in Nashville, Tennessee on June 21st. 

Spain then sets the stage as the first European destination on the tournament's calendar and is set to take place at the Real Club Valderrama in Andalucía on June 12th for 2 days. We then wave goodbye to the Spaniards, as we set our sights on the pen-ultimate leg of this extraordinary tournament, the JCB Golf & Country Club, United Kingdom. The tournament then takes its final leap across the pond to The Old White at The Greenbrier Golf Club, Greenbrier, USA, the final leg of the LIV Golf Tournament.
